Bryce Gheisar is a rising young actor whose success story began with his role as younger Ethan in director Lasse Hallström’s
A Dog’s Purpose (2017), with Josh Gad (voice) and Dennis Quaid (playing adult Ethan). Later that year, Gheisar landed a major role in co-writer-director Stephen Chbosky’s hit coming-of-age drama, Wonder, starring Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, and Jacob Tremblay, and grossing over $305 million worldwide. For his third feature, Bryce Gheisar found himself being directed by Clint Eastwood in the train thriller, The 15:17 to Paris (2018), with non-actors Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos, and Spencer Stone re-enacting their heroic feats during the 2015 Thalys train terrorist attack in France.
Alongside acting in a string of hit TV shows, including Disney’s Candid Camera-influenced, Walk the Prank (2016-2018), as well as the Nickelodeon series, The Astronauts (2020), Gheisar continued working in feature films, including a reprisal of his role of Julian in Wonder (now a lead role), with White Bird: A Wonder Story (2022), directed by Marc Forster, with Gillian Anderson and Helen Mirren.
Bryce Gheisar was born in Plano, Texas, and raised by parents Todd and Nicole Gheisar. Gheisar has one older brother, named Blake. While schooling in Plano, Gheisar was successfully competing in gymnastics and then discovered and cast in a short film made in 2015, The Bus Stop. Gheisar has studied at the Cathryn Sullivan Acting for Film Studio, based in Lewisville, Texas. Gheisar’s height is 5’ 7”.
