The theater features double features on two screens, a mix of Hollywood blockbusters and family favorites, with some retro movies sprinkled in, of course.

But one recent addition has really captured the crowd’s attention: Frazil’s Slushic Products!
Given Florida’s balmy climate, Silver Moon’s third generation owner Chip Sawyer always wanted to offer a frozen concession item. But building out an ice cream bar or even installing an ice cream machine was never practical due to high cost of installation and maintenance. Frazil’s team addressed these cost concerns by providing no cost installation and complementary maintenance and repairs.
Operationally, Sawyer has found Frazil to be “incredibly easy” to work with. Sawyer noles thal the machines themselves are user-friendly and very easy to clean. That makes life easier for staff, especially on busy nights, and ensures a consistent experience for guests.
Frazil’s brightly colored, delicious slushie and have quickly become a fan favorite among Silver Moon’s audience as a perfect balm for Florida’s warm evenings. With Frazil’s perfectly icy texture and delicious fruity flavor, Sawyer has seen customers purchase Frazils as much as their fountain drink options. This has significantly increased the theatre’s per cap revenue earned from concessions, as prices for Frazils are double that of regular fountain drinks. The theatre recently added Frazil’s frozen coffee option titled Café Tango, which has been widely embraced by customers. “Every time we come to the Silver Moon, my kids go straight for the Frazil machine” said one customer. “Nothing beats Frazils!”
It’s touches like Frazil – adding new offerings without losing the old-school vibe that help the Silver Moon Drive- In stay relevant and beloved. Frazils have been such a success since Sawyer began selling their products a little over a year ago. It has convinced him now to begin selling Frazils and Café Tango at his second drive-in location. ། can’t recommend selling Frazil products to any theatre owner highly enough, indoor or drive-in.”
