The 1932 Criterion Theatre in Bar Harbor, Maine, is a beautifully restored Art Deco landmark and nonprofit cultural hub located at 35 Cottage Street. With its iconic floating balcony, original auditorium, and rich history—including a stint as a Prohibition-era speakeasy—it remains one of only two Art Deco theaters in Maine.
