Sasha Calle (birthname: Sasha Marie Calle) has shot into big-screen stardom with her first feature role, as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl in the long-anticipated DC Comics movie, The Flash (2023), directed by Andy Muschietti, starring Ezra Miller, Michael Shannon, and Michael Keaton. Following acting in six short films from 2017 to 2019, Calle landed the role of Lola on the long-running soap, The Young and the Restless, and performed in 276 episodes between 2018 and 2021.
Sasha Calle was born and raised in Boston by her birth mother Samira Calle and stepfather Kevin Calle, but moved with her Colombian-born mother and her younger brother Jacob to Colombia when she was ten years old. Her family returned to the U.S. two years later and settled in Miami. At age 17, Calle moved from Miami to New York City to study acting at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Calle graduated from the academy in 2017 with a BFA degree. Calle’s height is 5’ 7”.
