Olivia Marcum is a young child actor who is stage-trained and has added feature films to her credits. Her debut role was the plum part of Katherine, one of the two girls possessed in the Blumhouse/Universal Pictures reboot of the Exorcist series, The Exorcist: Believer (2023).
Marcum co-starred opposite Leslie Odom Jr., Lidya Jewett, Ellen Burstyn (reprising her role as Chris MacNeil from the original The Exorcist (1973)), and Ann Dowd, under the direction of David Gordon Green, who had planned Believer as the first in a trilogy of Exorcist movies. Prior to her feature movie debut, Marcum performed in school and after-school drama productions until she was cast in professional musical theater in 2009, most prominently in Matilda: The Musical and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Olivia Marcum was born in the Los Angeles area and raised by her parents in the Los Angeles suburb of Westlake Village.
