Famed as the ruthless Tommy Egan in the long-running hit series, Power (2014-2020), as well as offshoots Power Book II: Ghost (2021), and (as lead star) Power Book IV: Force (2022), actor Joseph Sikora is a busy, dynamic actor who specializes in vivid heavies, including Sharp and Frank Cosgrove Jr. in respective crime drama series Banshee (2014) and Ozark (2020-2022).
After nearly twenty years of prestigious Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York theater credits, including guest appearances in many TV series from Walker, Texas Ranger (2000) to The Good Wife (2013), as well as recurring cast appearances in the superb series True Detective (2014), Banshee, Underground (2016-2017), Maniac (2018), and Ozark, Joseph Sikora began to make a bigger impression in feature films with Christopher McQuarrie’s adaptation of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher (2012), with Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, David Oyelowo, and Richard Jenkins.
Sikora appeared in the ensemble of Deon Taylor’s thriller, The Intruder (2019), with Michael Ealy, Dennis Quaid, and Meagan Good; and then reunited with Ealy on the remake, Jacob’s Ladder (2019). Sikora rejoined filmmaker Taylor for the cabin-fever thriller, Fear (2022), with Andrew Bachelor.
Chicago-born Joseph Sikora was raised by parents Barbara and Albin Sikora. He has two brothers, Christopher and Albin. Sikora attended and graduated in 1994 from Notre Dame College Prep. He then attended Columbia College in Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater. Sikora also studied acting in Evanston, Illinois, with the Piven Theatre Workshop. Sikora’s height is 5’ 11”.
