The Music Box Theatre in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood is a historic, independently-run cinema known for its unique “atmospheric” design that resembles a Mediterranean courtyard, complete with a starry, cloud-filled ceiling. Since 1929, it has been a beloved venue where the community can gather to enjoy a selection of independent, foreign and classic films.
