Dutch actor Stephanie Corneliussen is a co-star in her first credited feature film, filmmaker Jessica Thompson’s Gothic drama, The Invitation (2022), with Nathalie Emmanuel and Thomas Doherty. The Invitation isn’t Corneliussen’a debut feature, however; she had an uncredited role, as Desert Witch, in Tommy Wirkola’s Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013), with Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton, Peter Stormare, and Famke Janssen.
In between these features, Corneliussen has had roles in several notable TV and quality cable series, including American Horror Story, recurring roles in Deception, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Noah Hawley’s Legion for FX, as well as the main role in Sam Esmail’s Mr. Robot (2015-2017).
Stephanie Corneliussen was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark, and attended the school Johanneskolen in nearby Frederiksberg. Along with her ballet training, she earned a higher education degree in graphic design. A modeling scout discovered Corneliussen at age 13, and eventually won the Supermodel of Scandinavia contest, launching a global modeling career that took her to London and eventually to Los Angeles. She has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, and Playboy magazines, and has modeled for commercials for such brands as Lexus, Armani, Bebe, Dasani, and Nikon. Corneliussen’s height is 5’ 11”.
