Ross earned her first co-starring and above-the-title role in writer-director Marine Place’s Souffler plus fort que la mer (Breathing Under Water) (2016), starring Aurélien Recoing and Corine Masiero. Another reunion, with filmmaker Assayas, marked Ross’ casting in his fascinating Personal Shopper (2016), starring Kristen Stewart, winning Best Director for Assayas at the Cannes Film Festival.
Once again with Assayas, Ross played opposite Juliette Binoche and Guillaume Canet in the drama-comedy, Non-Fiction (2018), premiering in competition at the Venice Film Festival.
