At long last, the 2021 Cannes Film Festival is ready to begin, kicking off on Wednesday, July 6th.
Last year, the storied international event was canceled because of health concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic, and this year the festival dates were pushed back into the summer from their traditional dates in mid-May. Though delayed, movie lovers are still eager to experience the 2021 Cannes lineup, which includes Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch, Sean Penn’s Flag Day, and Sean Baker’s Red Rocket.
